**1)** Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, buildings and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.

**2)** Layout and plan interior room arrangements for residence, special residence, commercial buildings using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software.

**3)** Supervise, coordinate, and inspect the work of draftspersons, technicians, and technologists on construction projects.

**4)**Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to lists of materials.

**5**) Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.

**6)** Operate computer-aided drafting equipment or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records.

**7)** Coordinate structural, electrical and mechanical designs and determine a method of presentation in order to graphically represent building plans.L

**8)** Have to check the plan once after completing the project whether the requirements mentioned are met with accuracy.

**9)** Should collect the necessary data and details from the client before commencing the design project

**10)** Supportthe clients about the designing norms.

**11)**Further, this professional plan has to be interpreted in the Computer using Computer aided designing softwarefor 3D design of the plan.

**12)** Have to check the plan once after completing the project whether the requirements mentioned are met with accuracy.

**13)** They have to guide and support the junior draftsmen in the project.
