**AutoCAD Draftsman Job Description**

**AutoCAD Draftsman Responsibilities**:

- Prepare 2D/3D CAD drawings for CP layouts, grounding systems, and installation schematics.
- Develop as-built drawings, wiring diagrams, and material take-offs.
- Collaborate with CP engineers to translate technical concepts into detailed drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with NACE, ISO, and project-specific standards.
- Maintain drawing databases and version control using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Assist in material selection and quantity estimation for CP installations.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, and structural teams for interdisciplinary alignment.

**AutoCAD Draftsman Requirements**:

- Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma or ITI in Drafting, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in drafting for CP or related infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D); knowledge of MicroStation is a plus.
- Familiarity with CP components: anodes, rectifiers, test stations, cables, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Exposure to **industrial, oil & gas, or urban infrastructure** projects
- Understanding of **cathodic protection design principles** and corrosion control.
- Familiarity with **International project standards** is a plus
- Ability to read and adapt to **international design codes and practices**

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Diploma (preferred)
