**Job Summary**:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operation and Monitoring:

- Operate and monitor all equipment and systems at the STP/ETP, including pumps, valves, motors, and control panels.
- Conduct regular inspections and log operational data to ensure the plant is running efficiently and within compliance parameters.
- Adjust controls and systems to optimize the treatment process and ensure effluent quality meets regulatory standards.

2. Maintenance:

- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel for major repairs and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

3. Quality Control:

- Collect and analyze samples of influent, effluent, and sludge to monitor quality and compliance with environmental standards.
- Adjust chemical dosages and treatment processes based on laboratory results and operational needs.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on water quality and treatment processes.

4. Health and Safety:

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols during all operations and maintenance activities.
- Participate in safety training sessions and emergency response drills.

5. Record Keeping and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate logs and records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and water quality data.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to regulatory agencies and management.
- Assist in the preparation of environmental compliance reports.
