Capria Ventures is nearing the first close of its third flagship India fund. This fund will focus on investing in Jobtech, SaaS, Fintech and Climate — sectors that are not only exciting and important but also rapidly growing within India’s startup ecosystem. We’re focused on startups leveraging applied GenAI to build bigger, next-generation businesses rapidly. We’re looking for a rockstar Associate to join our team in Bangalore.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Sourcing, Screening, and Closing Investment Opportunities**: You will be involved in sourcing, evaluation, and transaction efforts to ensure we make the best investments. This includes building and maintaining relationships with, and contributing value to, the venture capital and startup ecosystem.
- **Portfolio Management & Exits**:You will work closely with portfolio teams to help them in realizing their full potential, including strategic decisions, improving unit economics, hiring & retaining the best talent, raising capital, finding and facilitating exits at the right time, and more.
- **Marketing**:You will be responsible for working with Capria’s marketing team to enhance Capria’s visibility and brand across the continent through a “portfolio first” approach, as well as helping create the right content to support portfolio growth.
- **Ecosystem Development**: You will build connections in the industry and with ecosystem stakeholders.

**Relevant Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or similar degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, start-ups, corporate innovation, and/or a top-tier management consulting firm.
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art technology tools, including GenAI.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively synthesize complex information, present analysis, and exercise advanced critical thinking.
- Collaborate effectively with a global team and partners.
- Ability to build, nurture, and cultivate relationships with prospective/current investees and the Indian and global venture/startup ecosystem

**Additional Information**:
Our firm has globally adopted a hybrid home/office model, which is still evolving; you should anticipate spending ~4 days per week in our offices in Ulsoor (Bangalore).
