The position will be responsible for the daily tasks and controls involving securities lending operations, interacting with various offsite and onsite parties. The Timing of this work shift will be in support of Boston working hours
- Daily activities include monitoring negative positions for securities lending clients, executing reallocations as needed, executing recalls as needed, monitoring and resolving failing recalls and process exceptions throughout the day.
- Agrees open transactions with counterparties, coordinates instructions to deliver/receive securities with brokers and reconciles daily net position movements for Int’l and DTC transactions.
- Confirms end of day positions and security movements with brokers and reconciles activity in a timely manner.
- Complete daily EOD balancing, ensuring security positions correctly reflected in the firm’s books and records (DML).
- Assist in driving various firm and team initiatives including Operational Efficiencies and Controls, improving the risk and control environment and maintaining procedures.
