The Abhay Saarthi Program by Foresight Foundation, in collaboration with IIT Delhi, aims to improve the health, safety, and well-being of truck drivers across India. Through eye health camps, awareness campaigns, and data-driven interventions, the program ensures drivers have access to essential vision care, promotes safer roads, and demonstrates how technology and community engagement can transform healthcare and livelihoods for underserved populations.

Job Title: Program Coordinator (Stock)

Location: Delhi (Stock Office)

Reporting to: Manager - Operations

/Contractual

Engagement Period: Depending on the duration of the program cycle

Joining Date: Immediate basis

Role Overview: The Program Coordinator - Stock will be responsible for managing stock office operations, planning and forecasting procurement based on usage trends, overseeing logistics and ensuring stock availability at each health camp location. This role demands strong inventory control, supply chain coordination and proactive stock planning to avoid shortages and excesses. The Program Coordinator - Stock will work closely with Camp Managers, stock coordinators, procurement teams and logistics partners to maintain seamless stock movement.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Stock Office Operations & Management
- Oversee day-to-day stock operations at the central inventory hub.
- Maintain real-time stock records, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Supervise Stock Coordinators to ensure proper stock handling, verification and dispatch.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage and discrepancies.

2. Stock Planning & Forecasting
- Analyze camp-wise usage trends to forecast stock procurement needs.
- Develop monthly and quarterly stock requirement plans based on past consumption.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely purchase and replenishment of stock.
- Maintain a buffer stock policy to prevent supply shortages.

3. Logistics & Distribution Management
- Plan and oversee stock dispatch schedules to different camp locations.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for efficient and timely stock deliveries.
- Monitor stock movement from procurement to final usage at camps.
- Ensure stock is allocated and dispatched in correct quantities as per camp needs.

4. Stock Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure adherence to stock handling protocols, SOPs and safety standards.
- Maintain detailed reports on stock levels, movement and consumption patterns.
- Provide weekly and monthly stock reports to the Manager - Operations for decision-making.
- Identify and rectify any gaps in inventory management and stock allocation.

Key Outcomes Expected:

- 100% stock availability at all camp locations with no delays.
- Efficient stock planning and procurement forecasting to prevent shortages/excesses.
- Zero discrepancies in stock records, audits, and logistics tracking.
- Seamless coordination with stock coordinators, logistics, and procurement teams.
- Accurate reporting and compliance with inventory control measures.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 10+2/Graduate or diploma in optometry or related certification
- 3+ years of experience in inventory management, stock planning, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in inventory tracking software, MS Excel and data analysis tools.
- Ability to analyse stock trends and optimize procurement planning.

Strong coordination skills to manage logistics and stock distribution across multiple locations.
- Experience in healthcare or vision-care inventory management (preferred).

Compensation: As per industry standards.
