As a Senior SDET, you are a test professional with strong programming skills who can create automation testing scripts and framework tools to assist the manual testing process. You will own the design and implementation of tests that will help in the end-to-end quality of major deliverables working closely with multiple engineers and teams to execute them. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of automation tests and tools that power our organization. You should have strong communication skills and be able to quickly turn ideas into production-ready solutions in a fast-paced and friendly environment. You should have a passion for designing, development, and testing and the ability to upgrade your technical skills within the constantly changing technology sector. You’ll be writing code that automatically verifies the quality of the product. That means that you potentially are more significant than the developers.

**Note**:The preferred location is **Chennai**.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation scripts for functional, regression, API, and Performance testing
- Understanding the code flow and how it interacts with different components.
- Take ownership and responsibility for product development and improving product quality.
- Run and perform regular automation tests and debug/fix possible issues
- Should be able to work with Jenkins and provide automation metrics to all applicable stakeholders.
- Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
- Participating in design and architectural discussion
- Provide accurate and timely estimates for task

Requirement/ Key Skills:

- 4-6 years overall SDET/similar experience
- Strong programming/scripting experience with languages such as, Python, Java, or Ruby
- Should possess good knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Web driver and Appium
- Should possess strong experience with Agile development incorporating CI/CD, Utilizing technologies such as GIT, and Jenkins
- Should have knowledge in API level testing
- Should be able to write clean, runnable, readable, and efficient code in addition to debugging when needed
- Good understanding of multiple test automation frameworks available in the market trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Should deal with ambiguous problems and ability to think abstractly
- Should have the excellent debugging skills

Measure of Success:

- Lead and manage a team(s) to deliver quality and bug-free code adhering to functional and non-functional requirements.
- Follow and define standard practices (Release management, Unit Tests, reducing technical debt, Code Coverage, Integration tests, etc.) and ensure that the team follows them.
- Active participation in Blogging and Conference

**Salary**: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
