The System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance and patching of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for Microsoft Windows platform. The System Administrator ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures comply with internal and external standards and security requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engineering of solutions for various project and operational needs.
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
- Support daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted parties.

**Skills**:

- Minimum of 2 - 4 years experienced required
- Experience in problem resolution with IT systems and individuals
- Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
- Experience in windows server administration and technical support.
- Installation, Troubleshooting and Debugging skills in a Windows server environment.
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows Server
- Internet Information Server (IIS) and cPanel
- Windows DNS / BIND / Named
- Active Directory / LDAP
- Expertise in Windows 2008, 2012,2016,2019 System administration.
- Solid understanding and working knowledge of complete systems development and deployment life cycle and of all facets of systems administration in a large scale IT operations unit
- Understanding of SQL and DB admin knowledge.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month

- Industrial area, Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
