**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Database administration L2+ support in the areas relating to performance tuning, troubleshooting, installation, patching and configuration
- MySQL(5.x/8.x), MariaDB(10.x), MongoDB(4.x).
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures in conjunction with external technologies Data Domain/NetBackup.Responsibilities.
- Design and implement high available; redundant systems, policies and procedures for disaster recovery and data archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of data assets.
- To extend the required technical support for all issues related to production Database(s) and during the product development, testing and release phases.Resolving issues, in case L1 engineer is unable to resolve the issue.
- Creating technical RCA, and discussing with the stake holders.
- Monitoring and managing of problem tickets.
- Ensure closure within the SLA defined.
- Week end Extended / On call support during any emergency / Scheduled Activity
- Business requirements.Experience supporting MySQL/MariaDB/MongoDB databases on public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as SQL database administrator.
- Hands-on experience in SQL, query optimization, performance tuning & indexing.
- Hands-on experience in clustering, log shipping, replication techniques.
- Knowledge to automate the activities like DB Creation, Patching and Health Check.
- Knowledge and worked on implementing right Security policies and procedures.
- Validated knowledge on capacity management and should know how to optimise it.
- Worked on backup and recovery procedures and should be aware about the retention policy and the maintenance backup pieces.
- Should have knowledge and worked on the process and procedures related to DR Activity.
- 24X7 Production support and should be able take up on-call on rotational basis knowledge on the ticketing tools and should be well aware about the ITIL Process.
- Involving performance related issues

**Preferred Technical and Professional Experience**
- Primary Skills:

- MariaDB
- MySQL,
- MongoDB.
- Good to Have - Oracle/SQL Server/DB2.
- Soft skill.
- Knowledge on Cloud, UNIX, Linux and Windows Operating systems
