Purchase and Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities and Duties:
Proficient in negotiations, with a focus on securing favorable terms.

Experienced in the Manufacturing Industry.

Identifying and engaging potential suppliers and vendors.

Procuring materials, goods, products, and services while ensuring optimal contract terms and cost-effectiveness.

Negotiating contract terms and pricing with vendors.

Strategically planning and forecasting material requirements.

Evaluating and comparing offers from suppliers and vendors.

Cultivating professional relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.

Maintaining accurate records of orders, payments, and received stock.

Ensuring timely issuance of imported purchase orders.

Proactively managing shipments and logistics, with regular follow-up.

Conducting stock inspections and promptly reporting any issues.

Monitoring order status and ensuring on-time delivery.

Assessing the quality of purchased products.

Recording order details in internal databases.

Updating records of purchased products, delivery details, and invoices.

Generating reports on purchases, including cost analyses.

Monitoring stock levels and initiating orders as required.

Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.

Proficiency in ERP systems for procurement and logistics management.

Understanding technical drawings and ordering based on Bill of Materials (BOM).

Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering preferred.

Knowledge of fabrication, machining, and other outsourced processes, materials, and electrical & electronic components.

Mechanical background preferred.

Proficiency in MS Excel.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Strong understanding of vendor sourcing practices, including research, evaluation, and vendor communication.

Hands-on experience with purchasing processes.

Familiarity with supply chain procedures.

Solid analytical skills, including the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses.

Excellent negotiation skills.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
