Receiving Inspection

Role Purpose: Key quality metrics (Zero customer concern, Scrap cost, Zero down time and Defect outflow prevention to shop floor) on all incoming material - Machining, Heat treatment, surface treatment and bought out parts.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Report Potential hazards and defects observed in the workplace
- Incoming parts control as per defined standards
- Record control for supplier TC, Supplier report and internal report
- Deviation control & 4M management
- Non-conforming parts Management - Raise incident report, escalation and driving through sturctured problem solving approach
- Supplier quarantine area management
- Scrap management - subcontractor and supplier scrap
- System review w.r.t concern like sampling plan review. Addition of new parameters
- Identify potential risks and advice these to Manager/Platform Supervisor in order to eliminate the potential danger
- Patrol audit - Stores, Machining / Assy for system and sustennace of CAPA

**Essential Qualifications & Experience**

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering.

3~5 Years (Post B.E.) or 5-6 Years (post Diploma) in Quality field in Manufacturing Industry

**Essential Competencies**
- Handling all type basic measuring instruments and Knowledge about its precision & Accuracy
- Knowledge of geometric dimensions & tolerances.
- Ability to identify correct measuring Instrument / Equipment and method of Inspection.
- Ability to operate, troubleshoot and maintain incoming equipment, CMM, roundness & roughness tester, profile projector.
- Knowledge on Manufacturing process - Machining (Turning, Grinding), Heat treatment, Assembly
- Knowledge of core tools requirements - PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC
- IATF 16949 Automotive QMS std.
- Problem solving approach - 8D, 5-why analysis
- Use of QC tools and statistical knowledge
- Knowledge on IS
- Knowledge on MS office - Excel & Powerpoint
