Motion Graphics Artist

Overview:
As a Motion Graphics and Video Editor at OneDay, you will be instrumental in bringing our clients' visions to life through dynamic and captivating motion graphics and video content. Leveraging your expertise in video editing, animation, and visual effects, you will collaborate with our creative team to produce compelling multimedia assets that engage audiences, tell stories, and drive results across digital platforms.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Conceptualise, design, and animate motion graphics elements, including titles, transitions, visual effects, and animations, to enhance video content and convey key messages effectively.

2. Edit raw video footage and audio recordings, incorporating graphics, effects, and transitions to create high-quality, polished videos that align with client objectives and brand standards.

3. Collaborate closely with creative directors, designers, and content writers to develop storyboard concepts, visual treatments, and creative assets for video projects, ensuring alignment with client briefs and project goals.

4. Utilise industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) to execute creative concepts and bring ideas to life with precision and finesse.

5. Manage project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution and delivery of video projects.

6. Optimise video content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and streaming platforms, ensuring compatibility, quality, and engagement across different channels and devices.

7. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production, motion graphics, and animation, integrating new techniques and tools to enhance creativity and efficiency.

8. Collaborate with clients to understand their brand identity, messaging, and target audience, translating insights into visually compelling video content that resonates with viewers and drives desired outcomes.

9. Conduct quality control checks and post-production reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project specifications and client feedback.

10. Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions, pitching ideas, and developing concepts for new video projects, while maintaining a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Video / Film Production, Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or related field.

2. Proven experience (1-2+ years) as a video editor, motion graphics artist, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video projects and motion graphics/animations.

3. Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe After Effects), with advanced skills in compositing, key framing, and visual effects.

4. Solid understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, sound design, and color grading, with the ability to edit raw footage into cohesive, engaging narratives.

5. Creative flair and strong design sensibility, with a keen eye for composition, typography, and visual storytelling, demonstrated through innovative motion graphics and video editing projects.

6. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.

7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate ideas clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders and clients.

8. Passion for storytelling, creativity, and visual expression, with a commitment to pushing the boundaries of motion graphics and video production to deliver outstanding results.

9. Adaptability and willingness to learn, with a proactive approach to keeping abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in motion graphics and video editing.

Pay: ₹21,972.11 - ₹41,144.26 per month

Schedule:

- Andheri West, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
