Associate Ad Copy Writer

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Create compelling blog posts, white papers, product or service descriptions and web copy
- Promoting our services by interacting with customers on social media
- Optimizing social media posts based on our target audience
- Networking with clients as well as industry professionals
- Coordinating with internal teams for creating advertising posts
- Tracking and reporting on social media insights (e.g. traffic, engagement, conversion rates, shares etc.)
- Create thoughtful, personalized, and brand-relevant content, strategy and presentations
- Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with exposure to multiple industries
- Writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action
- Drive execution in terms of rolling out these content pieces on all media platforms
- Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by the industry, company, or target audience at hand
- Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging
- Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content
- Concept and build a clear and concise creative worldview for the brand. Including coming up with a big idea that serves as a take-off point for the creative process, building a recognisable tone of voice and pushing this POV across creative opportunities
- You will need to present concepts and creatives to clients for some of the bigger projects and briefs. This also involves writing meaningful rationales for presentation decks to the client
- Pro-actively pitch original ideas that can help creatively leverage the digital-first nature of the audience landscape today
- Aid the development and execution of creative ideas from inception through to completion. This role needs you to take an interest and ownership of the end product
- As an agency, we want to raise our creative bar substantially. So you will be expected to champion higher-order conceptual ideas for the brands we work on.
- Ability to create innovative web content with relevant images and videos for example, when readers do land on your page, your content strategy should convince them that it’s worth sticking around
- Track user engagement and respond to its followers in a timely manner.
- Create content marketing campaigns to drive leads and subscribers Use SEO best practices to generate traffic to our site

**Key Skills / Abilities/Knowledge Required**:

- Educational Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Communication, Marketing, Journalism or a related field
- Familiarity with good writing techniques
- Prior Agency experience in managing content for diverse industries will be a major add-on
- Work closely with marketing team members
- Ability to use data-driven insights to write better material
- Strong verbal as well as written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of keyword research, SEO and analytics tools, especially Google Analytics
- Experience with various social network platforms for advertising purposes
- Familiar with paid advertisement
- You have about 2-3 years of experience writing copy for creative concepts and ideas, preferably within a pedigreed advertising, design, digital/social or mixed media creative services/agency environment
- This is a position for a Copywriter and your portfolio will need to demonstrate awesome copywriting work (and hopefully stop our search instantly)
- Versatility is key to this role. So the experience that cuts across B2C and B2B brands would be desirable
