**Pre-Travel Risk Assessment**
- Evaluate travel destinations for geopolitical, health, environmental, and security risks.
- Cross-reference government travel advisories (e.g., US State Department, FCDO).
- Coordinate with intelligence analysts to assess current threats.

**Itinerary Management**
- Maintain up-to-date travel itineraries for all personnel.
- Ensure travelers are registered and approved per company protocols.
- Confirm travel plans align with risk mitigation policies.

**Real-Time Traveler Tracking**
- Use GPS tracking tools, travel management platforms (e.g., International SOS, Concur), or check-in protocols to monitor movement.
- Maintain contact with travelers in real-time or at scheduled intervals.
- Provide 24/7 support and updates during travel.

**Threat Monitoring and Alerts**
- Continuously monitor global and local events (e.g., civil unrest, natural disasters, terrorism).
- Issue alerts and advisories to travelers and relevant stakeholders.
- Escalate situations based on severity and location.

**Emergency Response Coordination**
- Activate crisis response protocols if a traveler is in distress.
- Coordinate with internal crisis teams, external security providers, and local authorities.
- Facilitate evacuations or medical support if needed.

**Policy Compliance and Reporting**
- Ensure travelers adhere to company travel security policies.
- Maintain logs of all communications, alerts, and responses.
- Generate reports on travel incidents, compliance rates, and lessons learned.

**Traveler Awareness and Briefing**
- Provide pre-travel security briefings.
- Educate travelers on situational awareness, emergency contacts, and local laws/customs.
- Distribute traveler safety guides or digital resources.
