**Role**:Controller - Treasury**

To play an active role in ensuring proper control, compliance and accounting within corporate & statutory guidelines for Treasury. The incumbent would be responsible for periodic book closure, accuracy / completeness of Trial Balance, tracking of forex exposure, SoX and Statutory audits for Treasury, automation of process controls through Treasury TRM module, monitoring of FEMA compliance, review and monitoring of Treasury Back-Office activities and in depth analysis of Treasury P/L & B/S

**The challenging aspects of the role**:
Analysis of Fx exposure and Forex P/L to directly help improve Profits from Treasury Operations

Exposure to niche segments like Derivatives, Financial Markets, Hedge Accounting and SAP TRM module

Interaction with external Financial Markets viz. Banks, Mutual Funds, Rating Agencies, Insurers, Brokers etc.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Continuous monitoring of Treasury transactions processing and ensure proper accounting.
- Ensure systematic closure of books for treasury transaction in accordance with Accounting Standards.
- Preparation of analytical reports, notes to accounts and other reports to aid post book closure activities
- Prepare and distribute MIS to senior management
- Assist Front Office in monitoring FX Exposure
- Prepare and analyse Forex logic test to ensure proper accounting.
- Co-ordinating with other finance teams to ensure proper capturing of data for FX exposure tracking purposes
- Prepare Treasury PL/ MIS and providing insights to front office to enable them in taking appropriate decision.
- Primary Reviewer of cost centre expenses and Treasury Trial Balance
- Review all activities of Treasury Back office.
- Periodic review of SLA's and SOPs.
- Responding to queries of Statutory and Internal auditors (including SoX) and co-ordinating with them to ensure timely closure of audits.

E**ducational Qualifications**: CA/ MBA/CWA
**Experience Required**: 2- 4 years
