**Job Title: Patient Counselor**

Role Overview:
At Cancer Healer Center (CHC), we are dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate, and effective cancer care. As a Patient Counselor at our Delhi center, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients and their families throughout their treatment journey. Your empathetic guidance and expert communication will help ensure that patients feel informed, supported, and empowered during a challenging time in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Patient Counseling & Guidance**: Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to patients and their families, clearly explaining treatment plans, medical procedures, and recovery expectations in a compassionate manner.
- **Emotional & Psychological Support**: Offer emotional support to patients and their families, helping them navigate the emotional challenges of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Be a source of comfort and understanding.
- **Patient Follow-up & Engagement**: Maintain consistent follow-ups with patients through calls, meetings, and check-ins to monitor their well-being, address any concerns, and ensure compliance with treatment plans.
- **Coordination with Medical Teams**: Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive comprehensive care and are kept well-informed throughout their treatment.
- **Resolve Queries & Concerns**: Act as the primary point of contact for patients’ inquiries regarding treatment plans, appointments, medications, and any challenges they face. Ensure that their concerns are addressed quickly and effectively.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Accurately document patient interactions, maintain confidential medical records, and prepare reports on patient progress, ensuring all data is handled with care.
- **Patient Education**: Provide educational resources to patients and their families on treatment options, lifestyle changes, and emotional well-being, promoting a proactive approach to their health journey.

**Requirements**:
**Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare, or a related field. A Master’s degree or specialized training in counseling or oncology care is a plus.**

**Minimum 2+ years of experience in patient counseling, healthcare support, or a similar role, preferably in oncology or a medical setting.**

**Empathy & Compassion**:Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping people, particularly those facing medical challenges**.**

**Excellent Communication Skills**:Ability to explain complex medical terms in a simple, patient-friendly language, while maintaining a sensitive and supportive tone.

**Multilingual Advantage**:Proficiency in multiple languages is beneficial for communicating with diverse patient populations**.**

**Organizational Skills**:Strong ability to manage patient records, schedule appointments, and maintain a structured follow-up system with attention to detail**.**

**Salary: Competitive, based on experience.**

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
