**Key Responsibilities**:
- Validate POS transactions including **cash, card, UPI, refunds, discounts, promotions, and loyalty programs**.
- Verify **hardware and peripheral integrations** (receipt printers, scanners, cash drawers, payment terminals).
- Write, review, and execute detailed **test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios**.
- Log defects, track them to closure, and provide **clear defect reports** with reproduction steps.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to **understand requirements and acceptance criteria**.
- Perform **UAT support and production validation** during new POS releases.
- Ensure compliance with QA processes, standards, and best practices.

**Requirements**:
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **
5+ years** of experience in Functional QA with a focus on **POS testing**.
- Strong knowledge of **retail POS systems, transactions, and workflows**.
- Experience in **manual testing** (automation knowledge is a plus).
- Familiarity with **Agile/Scrum methodologies**.
- Strong defect management skills using tools like **JIRA, ALM, or similar**.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a **fast-paced retail environment** with tight deadlines.

**Good to Have**:

- Exposure to **test automation tools** (Selenium, Appium, or similar).- Knowledge of **payment gateways and third-party integrations**.
- Experience with mobile POS (mPOS) and payment gateway testing
