**Job Summary**:
Responsible for Setting up the Safety Plan, Safety Objectives for the segment and getting approval from top management. Capable to lead as Management Representative

Ensuring the System compliance by regularly auditing segment activities, site operations and initiating change requests with proper corrective and preventive action plans

Design and lead Implementation of HSE framework, policies for organization - Civil Business and building HSE capabilities in for Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safety Management: Develop, implement, and maintain the project's safety management system, ensuring it aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Establish safety goals and KPIs, and monitor the project's safety performance continuously.
- Risk Assessments: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, including hazard identification and consequence analysis, to evaluate potential safety risks associated with project activities, equipment, and facilities.
- Safety Engineering: Provide technical expertise in safety engineering, including safety instrumented systems (SIS), fire and gas detection systems, emergency shutdown systems (ESD), and other safety-critical aspects of the project.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with relevant safety codes, standards, and regulations governing oil and gas projects, such as API, ISO, OSHA, and IEC.
- Safety Reviews: Plan and conduct safety reviews, such as HAZID (Hazard Identification), HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study), SIL (Safety Integrity Level) assessments, and process safety reviews, to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Safety Documentation: Prepare and review safety-related documentation, including safety cases, safety reports, safety procedures, and safety manuals, to support project milestones and regulatory submissions.
- Incident Investigation: Lead or participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and lessons learned exercises to identify and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Safety Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs for project personnel, contractors, and subcontractors to enhance safety awareness and foster a safety-conscious culture.
- Interface Management: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and clients to ensure safety considerations are integrated into all project phases and decisions.
- Safety Performance Monitoring: Establish safety performance metrics, conduct safety audits, and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Emergency Response Planning: Develop and review emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the project's ability to respond effectively to potential incidents.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety practices, processes, and technologies within the organization and across projects.

Create and lead the HSE first Culture
- Develop and lead the globally accepted HSE framework and polices
- Building the capability roadmap and implementation in terms of equipment and manpower
- Sensitization of key stakeholders such as client, vendors, about HSE culture, roadmap, deliverable and results
- Leading Representation/participation of organization across international and domestic HSE forums
- Create and lead Center of Excellence on HSE with for getting global HSE accreditation
- Creation and implementation of superior safety delivery model and audit across business units
- Frequent meeting of customers/ other stake holders at Project and ensuring customer delight by continuously improving project practices

Position Overview: The Technical Safety Lead for Manufacturing Projects is a key role responsible for ensuring the safety and integrity of all technical aspects within oil and gas projects. This position involves leading and coordinating safety-related activities throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development and design to construction, commissioning, and operations. The Technical Safety Lead will collaborate with various stakeholders, engineering teams, and regulatory bodies to establish and maintain the highest safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines).
- Extensive experience (typically 12+ years) in technical safety engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- In-depth knowledge of international safety standards, codes, and regulations relevant to the hazardous waste industry, manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in safety analysis techniques such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL assessment, and QRA (Quantitative Risk Assessment).
