Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
CNC Programming & Toolpath Generation:
Develop, modify, and optimize G-code and M-code programs for CNC machines to meet production specifications.

Create and maintain root cards detailing tool selection, cutting paths, and process parameters.

Utilize CAD/CAM software to design and validate toolpaths for complex forged components.

Machine Setup & Process Control:
Collaborate with the production team to set up CNC machines (lathe, milling, or multi-axis) for smooth operation.

Adjust machine parameters, feeds, and speeds based on material properties and tooling needs.

Daily Production Monitoring:
Implement and oversee daily projection plans for CNC operations, ensuring production targets are met.

Identify bottlenecks and provide solutions to improve productivity and reduce downtime.

Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with Quality Control to inspect and verify parts meet dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.

Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for defects and suggest corrective actions.

Tool and Resource Management:
Monitor and manage tool inventory, ensuring timely availability of cutters, inserts, and other consumables.

Coordinate with the procurement team for material needs and tooling replacements.

Process Improvement & Optimization:
Continuously improve programs and processes to reduce cycle times, improve precision, and minimize scrap.

Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, tool setups, and production logs.

Generate and submit daily reports on machine performance and output.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field.

2+ years of experience in CNC programming, preferably in the forging industry.

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD).

Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC machine operations.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
