**Position Title**:SAS Platform Administration**

**Position Summary**:NEC Corporation India Pvt Ltd is looking for energetic, high-performing and highly skilled SAS platform administrator Deploy, manage, monitor the SAS 9.x and SAS Viya platform.

**Education/Required Qualifications**

**Bachelors or Master’s degree in field of Science, Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics**

Total Experience: 8 years

Relevant Experience: 5 years

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for installing, configuring, administering and maintaining the platform for both SAS 9.x architecture and SAS Viya architecture on Cloud and On-premise.
- Securing the SAS configuration
- Checking the Status and Operation of SAS Servers
- Monitoring, Logging, and Troubleshooting SAS Servers
- Backing Up the SAS Environment
- Administering Users
- User configuration and access
- Administering Data Access
- Establish connectivity to data sources
- Securing Metadata
- Moving Metadata
- Metadata management.
- Software to hardware installation.
- Autosys Job Monitoring, scheduling jobs
- Testing and upgrading the platform
- Evaluating the software for fixes
- Prepare report on the overall health and performance of SAS servers
- Align the SAS server management in compliance with overall IT management of the organization
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Passionate to learn and execute latest developments on SAS Viya administration and Environment management focusing on setup on hyper scaler Cloud
- Should have Linux administration experience
- Should be familiar with container technology e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Redhat OpenShift
