JD Title : Mainframe z/OS System Programmer – L3 – 7+ years of experienceTitle of Position: Mainframe Network AdminLocation: Bangalore, Hyderabad,Chennai,Mumbai,Pune,Indore,Cochin,Delhi,Noida,KolkataSummary of key responsibilities Minimum 7+ years of broad and in-depth hands-on technical and design/architect level experience in Mainframe z/OS Experience in a multi-site (multiple Data Center) Mainframe shop of minimum 2,000 MIPS and above. Work with Client/Customer, OEM & ISV Vendors, Business Partners related to all aspects of the Mainframe Platform. Support various Mainframe Software (both IBM and OEM/ISV products evaluation, High Availability, Disaster Recovery etc. Derive realistic Mainframe SLAs and design / propose architecture meeting those SLAs goals Mainframe Licensing, TCO and ROI planning and decision making.Years of Experience Minimum 7+ years of hands-on technical and Architect experience on the Mainframe Platform as a whole (HW, SW, NW, OS and Security)Technical requirements Mainframe Data Center Architecture (Metro Mirror, Global Mirror, MGM, 2/3/4 site GDPS & GDDR) Conversant with both IBM and EMC HW and Replication methodology. Hitachi optional. Mainframe Data Center Physical Planning and Design Experience in IBM z14, z15 & z16 Mainframe HW and Parallel Sysplex/GDPS-GDDR Setup Experience in both IBM and EMC Disk and Tape Storage hardware, software and replication. z/OS v2.x, JES2/JES3, DFSMS, SNA/VTAM & TCP/IP, RMF/SMF Mainframe Tools–SIEM (Q-Radar), z/OS-SA or CA-OPS/MVS Automation Mainframe DB2, MQ, CICS, WAS, Control-M Mainframe Security ACF2 Mainframe Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning Experience in Disaster Recovery setup and conducting DR drills. Experience in Mainframe MIPS Optimization, Software rationalization Hands-on experience with Hitachi VSP 5500, IBM DS8000, IBM TS7000 etc. IBM-Metro/Global Mirror, Copy Services, EMC-SRDF, EMC-GDDR Flash Copy, BCV-SnapVX, zDP, Safe Guarded Copy (SGC) Setup and Manager Mainframe DC Storage Replication Mainframe Software Rationalization Mainframe Modernization and Exit strategies Mainframe Performance Tuning – BP tuning, zIIP, SMT .
