A Laptop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining laptops and related hardware components. They troubleshoot software and hardware issues, perform upgrades, and ensure devices function optimally while providing excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Hardware Repairs**:

- Replace or repair faulty components (motherboards, RAM, HDD/SSD, keyboards, screens, batteries, etc.).
- Perform soldering and micro-soldering for circuit-level repairs.
- Disassemble/reassemble laptops without damage.

**Software Troubleshooting**:

- Install, configure, and update OS (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Remove viruses/malware and recover data.
- Resolve driver conflicts, BSOD errors, and performance issues.
- **Diagnostics & Testing**:

- Use multimeters, diagnostic software, and tools to identify faults.
- Test hardware components for functionality.

**Customer Service**:

- Explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Provide repair estimates and timelines.
- Maintain service records and warranties.

**Preventive Maintenance**:

- Clean internal components (fans, heat sinks).
- Recommend upgrades (RAM, storage) for better performance.

**Inventory & Documentation**:

- Manage spare parts inventory.
- Document repairs and solutions for future reference.

**Technical Skills**:
Proficiency in laptop hardware/software troubleshooting.
Knowledge of motherboard-level repairs (chip replacement, trace fixing).
Familiarity with diagnostic tools (e.g., POST testers, BIOS flashing).
Experience with OS installation, data recovery, and backup tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
