Position Overview: Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) India is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Donor Care Officer to join our Fundraising team based out in Bengaluru. As a Donor Care Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring excellent donor experiences and maintaining strong relationships with our valued supporters.

Key Responsibilities: Donor Relations and Communication:
2. Foster positive and meaningful relationships with donors, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated for their contributions to MSF's humanitarian efforts.

3. Regularly update donors on the impact of their support through personalized thank-you calls, progress reports, and updates on projects and initiatives.

Database Management:
1. Accurately record donor interactions and maintain a comprehensive database of donor information, preferences, and communication history.

2. Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with relevant data protection regulations.

Donor Retention and Engagement:
1. Implement strategies to enhance donor retention and maximize their engagement with MSF's work.

2. Collaborate with the Fundraising team to develop and execute donor engagement campaigns, appeals, and initiatives.

Donation Processing and Acknowledgment: 1. Coordinate with the donor database team to ensure timely and accurate processing of donations.

2. Issue timely acknowledgments and tax receipts for all donations in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Feedback Collection and Analysis: 1. Gather donor feedback and opinions through surveys and other feedback mechanisms, and provide insights to the management for continuous improvement.

Compliance and Reporting: 1. Ensure adherence to all relevant fundraising and donor care regulations, guidelines, and best practices.

2. Generate reports on donor care metrics, activities, and outcomes as required by the management. Qualifications and Skills: 1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. 2. Proven experience in donor care, customer service, or a related role, preferably within the nonprofit or fundraising sector. 3. Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in local languages would be advantageous. 4. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with donors and team members. 5. High level of empathy, patience, and understanding while dealing with donors' concerns and inquiries. 6. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills. 7. Proficiency in using donor management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
