A front office assistant in a hotel is primarily responsible for greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, providing information about hotel services, and ensuring a smooth guest experience by addressing inquiries and complaints, essentially acting as the first point of contact for guests at the front desk. Key responsibilities of a front office assistant:

- **Guest registration**: Verifying reservations, collecting payment, issuing room keys, and completing check-in procedures.
- **Guest departure**: Processing check-out procedures, settling bills, and collecting room keys.
- **Answering inquiries**: Providing information about hotel facilities, amenities, local attractions, and services.
- **Handling complaints**: Addressing guest concerns and working to resolve issues efficiently.
- **Reservation management**: Taking and updating reservations, managing room availability, and confirming details.
- **Communication**: Maintaining clear communication with guests, other hotel departments, and management.
- **Administrative tasks**: Maintaining guest records, managing logs, and updating property management systems.

Important skills for a front office assistant:Excellent customer service skills, Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, Organizational and multitasking skills, Proficiency with hotel management software, and Knowledge of local area and attractions.

Pay: ₹12,897.03 - ₹15,320.05 per month
