**DESIGNER ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job type**:Full Time

**Location**:Adyar, Chennai

**Level/Salary Range**:1,80,000 - 2,40,000 per annum negotiable based on performance

**Experience**:0-1 year experience

**Qualifications Required**:Any degree or equivalent

**Shift**:Day shift

**DESIGNER ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:

- **
- **Designing, Sourcing, good knowledge in pattern making and Garment construction, making tech packs**.
- Maintains paper work and records for the design, client Co-ordinations, team Co-ordination, production planning.
- Using digital design software to create prototypes, drawings, and other representations to show the clients what the end product will look like.
- Reviewing the clients space, target audience, or website and evaluating their needs.
- Selecting colour schemes,styles, themes, and layouts to bring the approved design.
- Working with other professionals to improve and upgrade existing designs.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends.
- Assisting with the marketing of completed designs.
- Ensuring that the clients message has been conveyed and that they are satisfied with the end product.

**DESIGNER ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:

- **
- Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, interior design, fashion design, or related fields.
- A license may be required for an interior design assistant.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD software and other technologies.
- Good understanding of colours, themes, styles, and layouts.
- Excellent creative, communication, and organization Skills.
- Attention to detail and time management skills.
- Experience with maintaining a budget.
