**About the team**:
This is a part of our CPD Service Team.

**What you will be doing**:

- We are looking for an iSeries Admin resource.
- This position is required to work permanently during US business hours(night shift ) between 6.30 PM - 3.30 AM IST.
- It is a pure production support role and has no scope for development.
- Location: Gurgaon, Bangalore, Chennai

**What you will bring**:

- Must have 5+ Years in Production support in iSeries /AS400 operation and admin
- Experience in administering IBM i running on Power Systems servers
- Experience administering and maintaining Apache server services on IBMi OS
- Experience with full system restore (as if from a site-down crash)
- Experience in managing partitioned systems (LPARs)
- Strong experience in using journaling, especially remote journaling, tracing, and packet captures on IBMi and Unix
- Understands the differences between independent ASPs, SYSBAS, and traditional ASPs
- Understands the functional differences between logical replication and clustering
- Keeps up with Software, Technology Refreshes and has an awareness with new features and functions
- Experience with Virtualized I/O (i hosting i, VIOS)
- Experience with TLS/SSL protocols, ciphers/algorithms, certificate, and encryption management; and methodologies
- HORIZON core experience nice to have, but not a requirement
