JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Data Engineer -Azure, you will work in the Technology team that helps deliver our Data Engineering offerings at large scale to our Fortune clients worldwide. The role is responsible for innovating, building and maintaining technology services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to the activities for Development refactoring and resolution of the issues pertaining to the development or support. Must have worked in the development of Web Apps. Be an integral part of large-scale client business development and delivery engagements Develop the software and systems needed for end-to-end execution on large projects Work across all phases of SDLC, and use Software Engineering principles to build scaled solutions Build the knowledge base required to deliver increasingly complex technology projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 4- 6 years of technology experience
- Strong experience in System Integration, Application Development or Web-App projects, across technologies used in the enterprise space
- Software development experience using: Object-oriented languages (e.g. C#,) and.NET frameworks.
- Database programming using any flavours of SQL
- Expertise in relational and dimensional modelling, including big data technologies
- Exposure across all the SDLC process, including testing and deployment
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure is mandatory including components like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL etc.
- Good knowledge of C# and SQL are required
- Good understanding of how to enable analytics using cloud technology and ML Ops
- Experience in Azure Infrastructure and Azure Dev Ops will be a strong plus
- Characteristics of a forward thinker and self-starter
- Ability to work with a global team of consulting professionals across multiple projects
- Passion for educating, training, designing, and building end-to-end systems for a diverse and challenging set of customers to success

EDUCATION:
B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or related technical degree OR Equivalent

- Work closely with business and product owners to create dynamic infographics with intuitive user controls
- Help the junior engineers on the project to effectively code and deliver as per the sprint plan and take care of their career aspirations and goals
- Be the speaker in translating technical project journey and sharing with clients

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Ideally, this would include the following:

- Expert-level proficiency with JavaScript (ES6), HTML5 & CSS
- Expert-level proficiency with REactJS or VueJ
- Familiarity with common databases (RDBMS such as MySQL & NoSQL such as MongoDB) and data warehousing concepts (OLAP, OLTP)
- Understanding of REST concepts and building/interacting with REST APIs
- Deep understanding of a few UI concepts:

- Cross-browser compatibility and implementing responsive web design
- Hands-on experience with test driven development, using testing libraries like Jest and jUnit
- Familiarity with common JS visualization libraries built using D3, Chart.js, Highcharts, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services (particularly Azure Web App, Storage and VM), or familiarity with AWS or GCP Services
- Experience working with UX designers and bringing design to life
- Understanding of Sprints and Agile and prior experience in managing Sprints with Jira
- Experience with Microservices, Messaging Brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ)
- Experience with reverse proxy engines such as Nginx, Apache HTTPD
- Familiarity with Github Actions or any other CI/CD tool (e.g., Jenkins)
