Urgent Hiring for Mechanical Design Engineer - Battery Design

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer - Battery Design

Experience

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Battery System Design**:

- Design and develop battery systems and components, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
- Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and assemblies of battery packs and related components.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs and optimize performance.
- **Drafting and Documentation**:

- Prepare precise and accurate 2D drawings for manufacturing and assembly using SolidWorks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
- Ensure all designs and documentation comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers,

manufacturing engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of battery systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and quality teams during the production process.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors to source components and materials.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in battery technology and incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance product quality and performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in battery design and development.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modelling and 2D drafting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and battery technologies.
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and critically.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with thermal management systems for batteries.
- Knowledge of battery standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., UN/DOT 38.3, IEC 62133).
