**Position: Purchase Assistant** **Location: Tirupur** **Salary Range: INR 13,000 (for freshers) - INR 16,000 (for experienced)**

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchase Assistant to join our procurement team. The Purchase Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our purchasing activities and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies necessary for our production processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in sourcing and purchasing raw materials, fabrics, trims, and other supplies required for garment production.
- Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and finalize purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Monitor stock levels and proactively identify and address any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as production, design, and quality control to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to specifications.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Handle administrative tasks related to purchasing, including filing documents, processing invoices, and communicating with vendors.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new product developments relevant to garment manufacturing.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the garment or têxtile industry (Freshers can also apply).
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
