Purpose of Role
To provide full function payroll processing in a professional, accurate and efficient manner, ensuring the work and communication with key stakeholders is of the highest standard. Key Activities
- Whilst your day to day activities will vary to meet your Role’s Mission, KPIs and the operational requirements of the job, we envisage the following key activities being required to achieve success in the position;
- End to end processing of fortnightly payroll of approximately 450 + employees in the Australia business
- Processing new employees, termination and related payments
- Accurate data entry of all payroll related changes and adjustments
- Assisting in processing of PAYG, payroll taxes and superannuation
- Assist with managing the payroll inbox and responding to all payroll queries in a prompt and accurate manner
- Maintaining accurate payroll, employee and leave records
- Generating payroll reports as requested by management team
- Work with the Payroll Manager to identify and drive payroll efficiencies and improvements
- Other Ad hoc payroll duties as directed
Key Competencies Details
- This role requires the follow Competencies and Experience;
- Minimum 2 years previous payroll experience
- Experience with iCHRIS/CHRIS21 system will be well regarded
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Communicates effectively in listening, speaking and writing
- Good customer service approach
- Directs and utilises personal energies as appropriate to the task or situation
- Capacity to be creative in finding solutions to problems and uses initiative
- Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail
