_Job Summary: The Hotel Food and Beverage Service Captain/Supervisor oversees and coordinates all aspects of the food and beverage service operations within the hotel. They are responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maximizing profitability. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail._
- Key Responsibilities:_
- _Team Leadership and Management:_
- _Supervise and train food and beverage service staff, ensuring they adhere to hotel policies and procedures._
- _Schedule and assign duties to team members, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours._
- _Motivate and inspire team members to deliver exceptional customer service._
- _Guest Relations:_
- _Greet guests warmly and ensure their needs are met promptly and courteously._
- _Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction._
- _Anticipate guest needs and preferences, providing personalized service whenever possible._
- _Service Coordination:_
- _Oversee the setup and preparation of dining areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and properly stocked with supplies._
- _Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to guests._
- _Monitor service standards and intervene as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency._
- _Quality Control:_
- _Conduct regular inspections of service areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations._
- _Monitor food and beverage presentation, portion sizes, and temperature to ensure consistency and quality._
- _Implement corrective actions as needed to address any deficiencies or issues._
- _Financial Management:_
- _Monitor and control costs related to food and beverage operations, including labor, inventory, and waste._
- _Implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, such as upselling and promotional offers._
- _Prepare reports on sales, expenses, and performance metrics for management review._
- _Training and Development:_
- _Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge._
- _Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members, recognizing achievements and addressing areas for improvement._
- _Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and career growth._
- Qualifications:_
- _Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a hotel setting._
- _Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members from diverse backgrounds._
- _Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously._
- _Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, sanitation standards, and safety regulations._
- _Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed._
- Education:_
- _High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred). _
- Mandatory Experience _
- 2-4 Years of experience in a similar role in a 3* to 5* hotel / Serviced Apartment chain._
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
