**Supervising Production Activities**
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Ensure production targets and schedules are met, and adjust as necessary to accommodate production needs or issues.
- Monitor production workflows, providing hands-on support and direction to the production team.

2. **Managing and Leading Production Staff**
- Supervise a team of production workers, operators, and assistants, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training for existing staff on production processes, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Motivate and engage staff to maintain high levels of productivity, quality, and morale.

3. **Ensuring Quality Control and Standards**
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process to ensure it meets company standards.
- Enforce quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to product specifications and any relevant industry standards.
- Address quality issues immediately and collaborate with quality control or quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions.

4. **Maintaining Safety Standards**
- Enforce workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure that production workers follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Conduct safety meetings, provide training on equipment safety, and monitor the proper use of safety gear.

5. **Production Planning and Scheduling**
- Collaborate with the production planning team to develop daily, weekly, or monthly production schedules.
- Ensure that the production schedule is followed and adjust resources (personnel, materials, machinery) as needed to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., maintenance, procurement) to ensure the timely availability of resources.

6. **Troubleshooting and Problem Solving**
- Identify and resolve operational problems that may cause delays, defects, or inefficiencies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment or processes to minimize downtime and production delays.
- Work proactively to prevent problems by continuously assessing and improving production operations.

7. **Resource Management**
- Ensure that the necessary raw materials, tools, and equipment are available and in good working condition for production.
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies, and collaborate with inventory or procurement teams to reorder supplies as necessary.
- Manage the efficient use of resources to avoid wastage and reduce costs.

8. **Production Reporting and Documentation**
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including production output, machine performance, quality control, and employee attendance.
- Generate daily, weekly, or monthly production reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), issues, and accomplishments.
- Document any incidents or deviations from the production plan and ensure appropriate follow-up.

9. **Ensuring Equipment Maintenance**
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure regular maintenance and repair of production equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and take action to minimize breakdowns or malfunctions.
- Report any major equipment issues to senior management and work on preventive maintenance strategies.

10. **Continuous Improvement**
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in production.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement among staff by promoting lean manufacturing principles, problem-solving initiatives, and innovation.
- Work with other departments to implement process improvements, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.

Pay: ₹10,715.11 - ₹30,110.28 per month
