**The position**

As Compliance Counsel in Region APAC, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, with a particular focus on compliance monitoring. You will also play a key role in advising affiliates and regional office colleagues for all compliance matters. Region Asia Pacific (APAC) is a dynamic region which focuses on the vast opportunities and challenges presented by 20 countries covering around 3000 employees covered by 7 Elevated Affiliates and 1 Business Area reporting to the Region.

As a Regional role that is overlooking many markets, your support is key to our APAC Compliance Director in terms of guidance and driving local and broader activities.

The Compliance Counsel position will be operating virtually from one of our hubs in Bangalore, Beijing, Istanbul, or Warsaw, and reports directly to the Compliance Director Region APAC, located in Dubai.

Your main accountabilities will be:

- Mapping risks and trends across business activities and geographies within the region in collaboration with affiliates’ legal & compliance
- Driving monitoring strategy and plans for Region APAC in collaboration with Finance & Procurement
- Executing monitoring activities in collaboration with regional functional teams and affiliate functional teams
- Support capability building in affiliate compliance teams in relation to monitoring
- Providing advice to colleagues on compliance matters
