**Job Title**: Housekeeping Room Attendant**:
**Reports to**: Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager

**Job Summary**:
A Housekeeping Room Attendant ensures guest satisfaction by providing clean, hygienic, and well-maintained guest rooms and public areas. They maintain high standards of cleanliness and adhere to the property's guidelines, policies, and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Guest Room Cleaning**:

- Clean and tidy assigned guest rooms, including changing bed linens, making beds, and replenishing towels and toiletries.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows as needed.
- Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.

**Bathroom Maintenance**:

- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs.
- Refill bathroom amenities like soap, shampoo, toilet paper, and tissues.
- Check for and report leaks, damage, or maintenance needs.

**Inventory and Supplies**:

- Replenish room amenities such as drinking glasses, coffee, tea, and promotional materials.
- Monitor and report low inventory levels of linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies to supervisors.
- Arrange for extra amenities as requested by guests.

**Public Area Cleaning (if applicable)**:

- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
- Clean public restrooms and other shared spaces.

**Guest Interaction**:

- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or inquiries.
- Respect guest privacy and property, ensuring mínimal disruption during room servicing.
- Report lost and found items to the housekeeping supervisor immediately.

**Safety and Maintenance**:

- Identify and report any maintenance or safety hazards (e.g., broken fixtures, exposed wires).
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including handling cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Follow fire safety and emergency evacuation procedures.

**Miscellaneous**:

- Assist in special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning schedules as directed.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions.
- Uphold hotel standards and policies in all tasks performed.

**Qualifications**:
**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and work on feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills, with the ability to understand instructions and interact with guests.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (e.g., linens, cleaning equipment).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Work Environment**:

- Indoor and guest-facing.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
