**Title**:Lithium Ion Cell/Module Validation Engineer

**Job Category**:Product Design & Engineering-Engineering

**Employment Type**:Full Time

Responsibilities include:

- Supporting Lead Validation Specialist to maintain validation requirement document
- Supporting execution teams (DREs) and direct communication with supplier’s validation/testing teams
- Supporting pack and vehicle validation process
- Supporting critical design review process for lithium ion cells/modules
- Supporting cross functional team to capture the learnings into Stellantis best practice
- Being a member of cross functional team supporting battery pack manufacturing, release engineering, supplier quality engineering

**Position Requirements**:
**Basic Qualifications**:

- BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of progressive experience in lithium-ion battery testing and validation; including cells, modules, and low/high battery packs
- Familiar with automotive validation requirement
- Good understanding of energy storage systems and vehicle electrification
- Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
- Highly Motivated and Self Starter
- Demonstrated Ability to Work in a Team Environment

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or Equivalent
- Demonstrated experience working directly with battery supply base
- Experience with PPAP and SPC process
- Excellent quality, manufacturing and product assurance planning skills
- Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Working understanding of PFMEA, DFMEA
