Food Technologist Nutrition Executive

As a nutrition expert ne / she will be instrumental in offering comprehensive wellness advice, conducting nutritional assessments, and fostering successful project implementation across institutions. The role demands a strong commitment to improving child nutrition, excellent communication skills, and the readiness to travel extensively nationwide.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the research and development efforts to create innovative food products based on millets, from concept ideation to commercialization.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and technological advancements in the food industry related to millet-based products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior food technologists, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Oversee the formulation and optimization of recipes, ensuring they meet nutritional, sensory, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of prototypes, iterating as needed to achieve desired product attributes and performance.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to food safety, labeling, and quality, ensuring compliance in all product development activities.
- Collaborate with food technologists and educational institution authorities to provide expert advice on child nutrition and wellness, ensuring the effective implementation of our nutritious food project.
- Should be fluent in English
- Conduct periodic nutritional assessment surveys to monitor and evaluate the health impact of our food supply on the children, making necessary adjustments to our strategies based on findings.
- Organize and lead seminars and classes for children, parents, and school authorities, aimed at educating them on the importance of nutrition and healthy eating habits.
- Work closely with various stakeholders to adapt and refine our nutritional offerings, ensuring they meet the dietary needs and preferences of children across different regions.
- Travel extensively to various institutions nationwide to oversee the project implementation, engage with the community, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Food Science and nutrition, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in food product development, with a focus on formulation and R&D.
- Proven expertise in developing and formulating food products, preferably with experience in incorporating millets or other alternative grains.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving shared goals.
- Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading projects from concept to launch.
- Deep understanding of food chemistry, ingredient functionality, and food processing technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to food product development and safety.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in the food industry.
- A strong passion for child nutrition and wellness, with a desire to make a tangible social impact.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex nutritional information in an understandable manner to various audiences.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and travel schedules efficiently.
- Enthusiastic about extensive travel and hands-on engagement with project implementation at the grassroots level.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
