**The Role**

The primary objective of the role is to:

- Work closely with the Technology team (BAs, Development Team) and Product Owners to understand the scope of changes, impacts on existing functionality and plan test cycles accordingly,
- Manage and executed QA test cycles, covering functional testing, regression testing and non-functional testing.
- Assist with the planning and scoping of UAT providing support and expertise through the UAT cycles.
- Maintain test plans, test cases, defects and associated documentation in Azure DevOps.
- Provide regular progress updates to the PM and other key stakeholders.

**Principal Duties/Responsibilities**
- Plan QA Test Strategies, Test Plan and all test cases.
- Granular estimation of effort and time required for the preparation and execution of QA test cycles.
- Manage and execute QA cycles for all deliveries.
- Lead daily QA calls with development team, BAs and product owners.
- Provide status reports highlighting progress detailing defects and actions required.
- Prepare QA test reports to facilitate the release process.
- Provide testing expertise and support to the UAT community with planning, execution and reporting.
- Work with the development team to build out an automated regression testing framework.

**Objectives of the role**:

- Become an expert in the Data Platforms and Services systems and associated business processes.
- Support releases across Enterprise Client Solution, KYC and Enterprise Reference Data providing a robust QA function.
- Engage in planning and preparations for future releases.

**Experience / Requirements**
- Minimum 7 years’ experience working in testing roles with previous experience of the QA planning and preparations as well as the execution of QA testing.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in either Banking, Insurance, Asset Management preferred
- Domain knowledge of Know Your Client, Client & Reference data highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience of interpreting data models, process flows and technical documentation.
- Highly proficient in SQL, Excel.
- Understanding of APIs and experience in API testing an advantage.
- Experience of building out automated testing frameworks preferred.

Experience of working in an Agile/DevOps environment essential
