**Responsibilities**

**Creating HVAC Drawings**:

- Develop detailed drawings and layouts for HVAC systems based on architectural and engineering designs.
- Generate plans that illustrate the placement of HVAC components, ductwork, equipment, and other relevant elements.

**Using Drafting Software**:

- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, to create accurate and precise HVAC drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes while drafting.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with HVAC engineers, architects, and other team members to ensure proper integration of HVAC systems into building designs.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to incorporate necessary changes and adjustments to the drawings.

**Interpreting Design Documents**:

- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents to accurately represent HVAC requirements.
- Translate design concepts into technical drawings that contractors and technicians can follow during installation.

**Component Placement**:

- Determine the optimal placement of HVAC equipment, such as air handlers, heat pumps, chillers, and condensers, within the building structure.
- Plan the layout of ductwork, vents, and registers to ensure efficient air distribution.

**Sizing and Load Calculations**:

- Perform load calculations to determine the appropriate size and capacity of HVAC equipment for different spaces within the building.
- Factor in heat gain and heat loss to maintain comfortable indoor conditions.

**Detailing and Annotations**:

- Add annotations, labels, and details to the drawings to provide comprehensive information for contractors and installers.
- Include dimensions, materials, and specifications for accurate implementation.

**Revision and Updates**:

- Incorporate revisions and modifications to drawings as project requirements change.
- Maintain an organized system for tracking revisions and document versions.

**Quality Control**:

- Review and verify the accuracy of HVAC drawings to ensure alignment with design intent and project specifications.
- Identify potential conflicts or issues in the drawings and suggest solutions.

**Documentation**:

- Maintain a well-organized record of all HVAC drawings, plans, and related documents.
- Provide documentation for as-built drawings after construction is complete.

**Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with the design team, contractors, and clients to clarify design details and address any concerns.

**Continuous Learning**:

- Stay updated with advancements in HVAC technology, industry codes, and drafting software to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**

**Educational Background**:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is often preferred.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools used for creating HVAC drawings and layouts.
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, equipment, components, and systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to HVAC design and installation.

**Drafting Skills**:

- Ability to create accurate and detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans for HVAC systems.
- Skill in interpreting architectural and engineering drawings and translating them into HVAC designs.

- Capability to perform load calculations, size HVAC equipment, and determine duct sizing based on calculations and industry standards.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
