**Employee Supplier Quality IS**

**Location**: Chakan

1. Principle activities
- Comply with company EHS management rules, know the factory and work area environmental factors and hazards, perform the post responsibility what described in the safe production responsibility system.
- Support with knowledge of components and technologies:

- Active and Continuous development of experience and knowledge
- Support strategic supplier selection processes by initial supplier visits and supplier evaluations from a logístical and quality or equipment standpoint as a basis for sourcing processes and cooperate in the sourcing process
- Independently conduct design activities from the viewpoint of quality requirements and advance quality planning with the supplier, taking into account special internal and external requirements.
- Conduct PPAP and process approval in comparison with internal and external customer requirements and documentation in the relevant DRX systems (such as QSYS, HOST, Scan View, PIP, PLM,..)
- Consistent ongoing development of product and process maturity
- Support the launch, conduct launch readiness reviews on-site including follow-up measures, up to transfer to series production
- Supplier Development
- Support in analyzing and prioritizing the supplier base
- Set up supplier development programs, define target systems and multi-step plans with the suppliers, and observe supplier development base on the agreed goals
- Conduct supplier audits, process inspections, action definitions, action follow-ups
- Cooperate in quality initiatives (internal and external) and in drawing up and expanding supplier agreements and contracts with regard to quality and logistics agreements or equipment agreements
- Cooperate in making and expanding supplier agreements and contracts, especially quality or logistic agreements
- Provide support in creating and evaluating supplier services, take action for recognized deviations (ppm, costs)
- Expert support for complaint management in case of escalations
- Support effective problem-solving activities with the supplier.
- Cooperate in required containments, cause analyses, development and implementation of permanent corrective actions
- General tasks
- Cooperate in the analysis, creation and optimization of internal processes and methods
- As needed: perform ‘Key User’ function, special tasks and special projects
- Describe activities, write reports.

Specialized knowledge / education:

- Professional/graduate education (experienced professional) usually acquired through a bachelor’s degree or professional certification with a few (two to three) years of experience in the related field (proficient in a technical, scientific or specialized field requiring an understanding of a body of theoretical knowledge)
Work experience:

- 3-5 years of experience in quality management/automotive
Additional knowledge:

- Broad technical understanding and knowledge of the components and technologies
- Market knowledge (industry expertise)
- Detailed knowledge of methods and processes for the quality methods used (SPC, FMEA, APQP, etc.)
- Skilled in negotiation techniques
- Active team player and moderator
- Analytical skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
