Admission Counsellor

**Job Title: Admission Counsellor** **Location: Gurgaon** ** (6 days working)** **Key Responsibilities**: 1. Application Process Management: - Conduct effective calling and conversion of leads while strictly adhering to the admissions standard operating procedures (SOP). - Coordinate admission tests, interviews, and campus visits for prospective students and their families. - Conduct virtual and in-person information sessions. 2. Prospective Student Recruitment: - Attend exhibitions and implement outreach strategies to recruit students locally, nationally, and internationally. - Participate in school fairs, community events, and other recruitment activities. - Maintain strong relationships with feeder schools and educational consultants. 3. Relationship Management: - Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students and their families. - Serve as the primary point of contact for all admission-related inquiries. - Follow up with families after visits or interactions to sustain engagement. - Support new parents and their children during the transition to the school, addressing concerns such as "empty nest syndrome. 4. Data Management & Reporting: - Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions in the admissions database. - Generate reports on recruitment progress, conversion rates, and other key metrics. - Analyze data to inform future recruitment strategies. 5. Campus Tours and Events: - Organize and lead campus tours for prospective families, highlighting the unique aspects of the residential all-girls environment. - Collaborate to plan and execute open houses, student days, and other admissionrelated events. 6. Collaboration with Other Departments: - Work closely with academic, residential life, and financial aid departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new students. - Liaise with faculty, administrators, and current students to get insight in the admissions process. 7. Support Diversity and Inclusion: - Actively promote the schools commitment to diversity and inclusion in recruitment practices. - Ensure a diverse group of students is represented in the admissions process. **Qualifications**: - Bachelors degree in Education, Communication, Marketing, or a related field. - Prior experience in admissions, recruitment, or a related field (preferably in a residential or girls school setting). - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to connect with adolescent girls and their families. - Familiarity with education trends and the competitive landscape of private or independent schools. - Proficiency with admissions software and CRM systems. - Willingness to work evenings and weekends, as needed. - Ability to travel for recruitment events and school fairs. **Key Competencies**: - Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people. - Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized. - Communication: Excellent presentation skills and written communication. - Empathy & Support: Sensitivity to the unique needs and challenges of adolescent girls and their families. - Problem Solving: Creative thinking to address challenges in the admissions process. **Work Environment**: This role will be based at Gurgaon, with occasional travel for recruitment events.
