**Job Title: Site Civil Supervisor**

**Department: Civil Engineering / Construction**

**Reports To: Project Manager / Site Civil Engineer**

**Job Summary**:
The **Site Civil Supervisor** is responsible for overseeing and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations. This role involves supervising workers, coordinating with subcontractors, maintaining quality control, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Site Supervision & Management**
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure work is progressing according to schedule.
- Supervise and guide construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to project plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Monitor and control material usage, equipment, and workforce productivity.

**2. Quality Control & Safety Compliance**
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Resolve any issues related to construction defects or non-compliance.
- Report incidents, hazards, and safety violations to higher management.

**3. Coordination & Communication**
- Act as a point of contact between the project management team and on-site workers.
- Liaise with engineers other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress, issues, and recommendations.

**4. Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain daily logs of construction activities, workforce, and materials used.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, site photos, and other necessary documentation.
- Track and report on project milestones, delays, and issues affecting timelines.

**5. Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting**
- Identify and resolve site-related challenges in a timely and efficient manner.
- Recommend cost-effective solutions for construction issues.
- Ensure proper execution of modifications or changes as required.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Education**: Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure construction supervision.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to operate surveying instruments and construction-related software (AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- **Certifications**:

- Safety training certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license (if required for site travel).

**Work Environment & Conditions**:

- On-site role with exposure to varying weather conditions and construction hazards.
- May require extended working hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.
- Frequent standing, walking, and physical activity in a construction setting.
