**Position Purpose**:
This role will be responsible for the Fixed Assets management in a timely and accurate manner. The role will ensure compliance with the Indian Accounting Standards and the company’s policies and procedures in managing the fixed assets. The role will also be responsible for doing the statutory fixed assets reporting, facilitating the internal and statutory audits related to fixed assets function in a timely manner

**Strategic Responsibilities**:
**Operational Responsibilities**:
Fixed Assets Management and General Accounting
- Master data creation for project capitalization in a timely and accurate manner,
- Accounting of asset sale, Transfer and written off/maintain records,
- Maintain asset commissioning documents tracking and records,
- Scrutinize and check periodically the hygiene of Fixed Assets Ledger, entries and balances.
- Issue guidelines to all locations for timely and accurate posting of capex transactions.
- Drive timely capitalization of projects and timely review of ongoing projects.
- Participate in the formulation of capex budget and accounting policies for the company
- Participate in the Physical verification of units as per plan

Account Reconciliation
- Review and sign off the month end Fixed assets vs. GL account reconciliations and attend to issues highlighted

Documentation & MIS
- Ensure all statutory and fixed assets accounting related documents and records are maintained consistently, accurately and up to date
- Ensure all fixed assets related updation on the SAP System is undertaken and completed in a timely manner and resolve any issues that may be highlighted
- Ensure that all fixed assets statutory records are accurately maintained at all locations.
- Review and sign off all Fixed assets related MIS reports that are to be presented to the senior management team.

Audit
- Ensure timely completion of the Fixed assets portion of statutory and tax audits for the Company.
- Ensure all required fixed assets related information is provided to the auditors and all related queries raised are adequately addressed.

**Education Qualification**:
CA or MBA (Finance)

**Work Experience**:
Overall 5 to 7 years with at least 4 years of leading fixed assets management for a large organization with multiple locations and businesses

FMCG, Manufacturing, AgroChemicals

**Functional Competencies**:

- Excellent knowledge of Fixed assets management
- Sound working knowledge of ERP - SAP system
- Knowledge of taxation and statutory compliances
