ELK Admin (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana,)

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- ** Setting up and configuring elastic stack**:

- ** Implement and configure Content (Alerts, Dashboard etc.,) on Kibana**:

- ** Configure Logstash, FileBeats and Possibly other ELK Stack components to collect and store the data necessary to meet business requirements**:

- ** Driving operation readiness and resolving the production issues in ELK**:

- ** Capacity planning and analysis for elasticsearch**:

- ** Perform health checks of Elasticsearch clusters and indices on a regular basis**:

- ** Collect and analyze Elasticsearch slow logs and identify poorly performing queries**:

- ** Troubleshooting performance issues and scaling indices**:

- ** Work with multiple stakeholders to analyze requirements, clarify design dependencies, create test plans, support functional and non-functional activities**:
**Technical Skills**:
**Primary Skills**:

- ** Hands on experience in Elasticsearch, logstash & Kibana should be at expert level**:

- ** Ability to deploy Elasticsearch, Logstash configurations, tunings, and customizations as per requirements**:

- ** Elasticsearch clustering, performance optimization, and REST API.**:

- ** Ability to setup different type of beats and to establish secure data transfers**:

- ** Ability to Search Query, dashboards, and visualizations using Kibana.**:

- ** Must have very good understanding of Log Analytics**:

- ** Strong experience in grok filters, Xpack, metrics, cluster management, pipelines**:

- ** Elasticsearch : Should be able to write Kibana API**:

- ** Should be able to work with API, shards etc in Elasticsearch**:

- ** Logstash : Should be able to write parsers**:

- ** Kibana : Create different visualization and dashboards according to the requirement**:

- ** Good experience in query languages and writing complex queries with joins that deals with a large amount of data**:

- ** Strong background in managing and maintaining large scale Linux environments.**:
**Secondary Skills (Technical)**:

- ** Infrastructure Knowledge (Server / Storage / Network)**:

- ** ITIL knowledge**:

- ** Have experience with various cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP )**:
**Education & Experience**:

- ** BE/ B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MSc/ MCA or equivalent**:

- ** 7+ years work experience in IT, and minimum 6 years’ experience in ELK stack**:
