Gyneac Rmo

A **Gyneac RMO** - **Resident Medical Officer (RMO) in Gynecology & Obstetrics**.

**Role Overview**:
They are doctors (usually MBBS qualified, sometimes with DGO/MD pursuing) posted in the gynecology/obstetrics department of a hospital. Their duty is to provide **round-the-clock medical support** for patients admitted under the gynecology & maternity unit.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Attending OPD and IPD gynecology/obstetrics cases
- Conducting initial patient assessment and monitoring vitals
- Assisting consultants during deliveries, C-sections, and surgeries
- Handling emergencies such as PPH, eclampsia, fetal distress, etc.
- Writing case sheets, progress notes, and discharge summaries
- Coordinating with nursing staff and other departments
- Managing labor ward and monitoring fetal/maternal condition
- Ensuring patient safety, consent, and timely updates to relatives

**Typical Requirement**:

- MBBS degree (MCI recognized)
- Registration with State Medical Council
- Experience/interest in Gynecology & Obstetrics
- Ability to handle emergency cases in maternity & gynecology
