**How does your job as Trial coordinator at Rijk Zwaan look like?**:
As Trial coordinator you fulfill an essential role in developing pre-commercial trials network in the relevant growing areas in India in consultation with breeders and RZ’s commercial partners. For this, you are in close contact with the crop workers and breeding departments. You will need to communicate with international Rijk Zwaan colleagues regarding technological developments, innovations and improvements.

Additionally, you are responsible for:

- planning and executing trials;
- recruiting assistance at the trial locations and train them to support in sowing, transplanting, recording/harvesting;
- visiting or arranging visits on a regular basis to the various trials;
- reporting of the trial results to the breeding department and the crop team;
- having close contact with the commercial organisation of RZ and partners and following the developments of commercial trials;
- following new developments in the market and connect them to breeding;
- preparing an annual trial plan and trial budget for approval by the breeding manager.

**Your contribution**:
You are a good organizer with an active and practical approach, orientated towards persevering and problem solving. Moreover, you are able to think and act independently while keeping the team results in mind. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, outstanding interpersonal skills and open mind. You are based either in Punjab or Karnataka and you are willing to travel frequently in India and occasionally abroad. You have good communication skills and you are fluent in English, verbally and written.

In addition, we can find the following on your resume:

- a completed bachelor or University degree in the field of Horticulture;
- at least 3 years of relevant work experience and crop knowledge;
- knowledge of and experience with growing and assessing crop varieties.
