**Job Description
**Responsibilities**:

- Create fun, challenging, and engaging levels.
- Help to develop and review ideas for levels, prototyping initial level layouts quickly and efficiently.
- Build and light levels all the way from initial block-out to final, polished gameplay spaces.
- Help to define and develop key elements including points of interest, exploration, flow, pacing, and loot placement.
- Use art assets and environment kits to assemble, ‘set dress’, and finalize levels.
- Find ways to re-use, re-skin, or to otherwise extend use of art assets.
- Work closely with Art team to depict levels and environments accurately to our game world.
- Work closely with Art, Design, and Engineering teams to maintain balance of visual quality, gameplay needs, and technical performance.
- Help to establish best practices for art production and optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Portfolio of high-quality work, clearly demonstrating level design and world building experience.
- At least 5 years of professional game development experience.
- Expert level proficiency with Unreal Engine 4 and Unity for mobile game development.
- Strong sense of composition and user experience within a gameplay space, able to fully flesh out a level and make it feel truly complete and compelling.
- Proficiency with 3D art workflows including modelling, UVs, texturing, retopology, etc.
- Proficiency with 3D art software such as Maya, Zbrush, Substance, Photoshop, etc.
- Deep understanding of tools, terminology, and methodologies for mobile game development.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
- Excellent collaborator, able to take feedback, work within a fast-paced team, and consistently meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, with strong communication and time-management skills.
- Highly organized and able to adhere to protocols, naming conventions, and file structures.
