We’re looking for a **Subject Matter Expert** who can drive smart, sustainable, and compliant packaging solutions powered by data.

**Role Overview**

As a Packaging & Data Analytics SME, you will be responsible for driving packaging development across product categories (FMCG, Food, eCommerce, etc.), while analyzing key data to enhance quality, reduce costs, and improve sustainability outcomes. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging excellence from concept to execution.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead packaging development, optimization & sustainability initiatives
- Select and validate packaging materials & formats (primary to tertiary)
- Analyze packaging failures & drive DPMO reduction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Sourcing, Design, Regulatory)
- Manage packaging specs, mock-ups & artwork compliance
- Ensure ISTA 6 & regulatory compliance
- Drive packaging cost benchmarking & vendor engagement

**Data & Analytics Focus**
- Build dashboards to track packaging costs, damage, & KPIs
- Analyze failure trends & provide data-backed recommendations
- Leverage analytics/ML to drive continuous improvement

**What You’ll Need**
- 5+ yrs in Packaging/Analytics in FMCG, Retail, or eCom
- Degree in Packaging Tech / Materials / Data Analytics
- Proficient in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SQL; Python a plus
- Strong knowledge of packaging compliance (FSSAI, Legal Metrology, EPR)

**Preferred**
- Experience with sustainable packaging
- Familiarity with ISTA, ArtiosCAD, TOPS
- Exposure to AI/ML in quality or defect prediction

**Job Type**: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
