**Job Title**: CNC Setter cum Programmer

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate CNC machines (Lathe, Milling, VMC, etc.) as per job requirements.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software.
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters.
- Perform first-off inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, height gauge, etc.).
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain part quality.
- Maintain records of setups, tool usage, and program changes.
- Conduct basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams for continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in CNC machine setting and programming.
- Proficiency in G-code programming and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, Siemens, FANUC, etc.).
- Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tool selection.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and meet production deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety practices and quality control procedures.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with multi-axis machining.
- Familiarity with CNC turning and milling centers.
- Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software.
