Key Accountabilities

Strategic- Ensure compliance of operations with governing regulatory requirements- Create, maintain and assume accountability for internal and external stakeholders.- Nurture and sustain an environment of continuous learning

Operational

Regular Activities- Preparation and validation of monthly TDS working- Preparation and validation of month GST compliance (GSTR-1, 3B)- Managing and keeping various trackers in coordination with entity controllers.- Prepare and maintain Intercompany reconciliation with accuracy and completing related compliance.- Keeping control over all GL balances with recons. Validation and approval for ARM’s prepared by contractor and permanent team members and timely completion ARM activity.- Working in coordination and developing rapport with internal stakeholders such as IAS/ SSC, Treasury, AP, AR, Purchasing, payroll, tax, controllership, facilities, corporate compliance, IT to improve quality of financial information and resolving finance related queries.- Working in coordination and developing rapport with external stakeholders such as auditors, bankers, consultants, vendors, authorities.- Evolve as escalation point for finance service deliveries for internal and external stakeholders- Continuously working on data quality of the reporting information, related schedules, recons.- Ensuring we adhere to timely compliance related to government filings.- Act as Primary point of Contact for all AR process with various project managers, customers.- Work with treasury for bank entries, assist to resolve bank reconciliation queries.- Verification of bills with contracts / POs- Handle accounts payable controllership part for verifying vendor payments and communication with vendor stakeholders- Ensure compliance with Direct, indirect and SEZ laws

Specific Activities- Managing month close activity independently starting from ensuring to book appropriate entries, MoR reasoning to cost plus working with guidance from manager.- Preparation of year close financials with schedules as required.- Working closely for various audits (GST, stat, tax, internal, IFC) with manager.- Assisting in various tax assessment cases.- Managing team of permanent and contractor staff effectively in view of appropriate delegation of work.

**Qualifications**:
- 3 to 4 years of experience with a Corporate / large CA firm after CA Intermediate completion

Special Skills & Knowledge- Knowledge of Oracle Peoplesoft-
- Clarity of accounting concepts

Key Competencies- Good verbal and written language skills- Ability to compile accounting information- Planning & prioritizing assigned tasks- Understanding of taxation (TDS/ GST), auditing, accounting- Concern for data quality, eye for details- Good documentation practices- Understanding of the process compliance parameters- Accountability
