**Job Description - Community Mobiliser (Skills Development Courses) Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Community Outreach & Awareness**:

- Identify and engage with community stakeholders, local leaders, NGOs, and other key influencers.
- Conduct awareness campaigns, workshops, and meetings to promote the skills development program.
- Develop and distribute promotional materials to target communities.
- **Student Mobilization & Enrollment**:

- Identify and counsel potential students about the benefits of the courses.
- Encourage youth and marginalized groups to participate in the program.
- Facilitate the registration and enrollment process.
- **Student Support & Retention**:

- Ensure that enrolled students complete their courses successfully.
- Monitor attendance and address dropouts through follow-ups and counseling.
- Identify challenges faced by students and provide necessary guidance and motivation.
- **Job Placement & Post-Course Follow-Up**:

- Encourage students to take up job opportunities provided after course completion.
- Coordinate with the placement team to connect students with potential employers.
- Track students’ progress post-placement and provide necessary support.
- **Coordination & Reporting**:

- Work closely with trainers, program staff, and community stakeholders.
- Maintain records of outreach activities, enrollments, and student progress.
- Prepare and submit reports on mobilization and engagement efforts.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Minimum [Specify - High School/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, or related field].
- **Experience**: [1-3 years] in community mobilization, student counseling, or a similar role.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working with diverse communities.
- Ability to persuade and motivate youth to join skills training programs.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
- Knowledge of local language(s) and community dynamics is preferred.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Passion for skill development and youth empowerment.
- Experience in working with educational/training institutes or NGOs.
